Brakes are a mandatory component of every forestry trailer, which, even for accessing terrain, moves on the road. Brakes on two wheels are standard in FAO FAR forestry trailers 1242 and larger. In trailers 51-1142, brakes on four wheels are optional. Brakes can be either pneumatic (single or dual-circuit) or hydraulic.
