ELS - programmable electronic minijoysticks for HR-LS i HR-LS + HD steering units

This option serves as an extension to the HR-LS and HR-LS + HD options. The ELS with the FAO FAR CAN unit is the most advanced and professional trailer control system. The ability to mount mini joysticks in the armrests makes the work incredibly comfortable and ergonomic, while the programmable unit (movement speeds, start and stop ramps, etc.) allows extracting maximum efficiency from the machine.

The main advantages of the FAO FAR CAN system are:

• Electronic calibration of many parameters for each section.
• Ability to program up to 3 different operators with different working parameters.
• The most ergonomic solution ensuring high work comfort.
• Built-in diagnostic tool + hour meter.
• Proportional control of all crane movements + support claws + hydraulic drive of wheels (in the HD version) from the joystick position, without the need to take hands off.

In the ELS version, like in HR-LS and HR-LS + HD, the main valve block is mounted on the crane column, while the LS variable displacement pump is located on the trailer's drawbar. The system is split, allowing for quick disconnection of the trailer from the tractor without removing the joysticks from the cabin. ELS is the only reasonable option for modern tractors equipped with an advanced right armrest. This option is available in cranes 4768 and larger.

LS Variable Displacement Pump:

Pumps with variable flow and capacity up to 230 l/min, combined with perfectly matched LS distributors individually tailored for each crane model, meet the highest expectations of users.

The systems have a wide range of speed adjustments for each section individually, as well as acceleration and deceleration of the entire crane's operation. The system allows for perfect calibration according to the operator's skills and the type of machine work. Such hydraulic systems have slightly higher demands on service personnel, but beyond efficiency and work comfort, the LS system better protects the machine from errors or bad operator habits.

Advantages of the LS variable displacement pump include:

• Wide range of PTO rotations (rotations above nominal do not increase work speed and are not harmful to the system).
• Smooth movements with adjustable (limited) lowering speed combined with a gas damper to eliminate unnecessary overloads, especially when abruptly stopping while lowering a load.
• An advantage for the entrepreneur is also the reduction of failures related to overload and excessive wear of hydraulic system components.

The hydraulic unit with a variable displacement piston pump in conjunction with the LS system cooperates with advanced HR, ELS, and PVG32 control systems. A high-capacity pump (up to 230 l/min) connected to a robust gearbox is housed in a solid casing mounted flexibly on the hitch. The drive is transmitted from the tractor's PTO through a shaft with one or two wide-angle joints. FAO FAR®, as the only trailer manufacturer, individually designs hitches for each customer. Thanks to this, regardless of the tractor's hitch height and the trailer's wheel size, after aggregation with the tractor, the trailer frame will be perfectly level, and the length of the PTO shaft always optimal.
